Best Practices
- Follow best practices for input columns, input groups, and section labels.
- In most cases, avoid using dividers (lines) for every section in a detail view
because too many dividers will make the UI appear cluttered. Instead, use
vertical and horizontal dividers to group content and establish a hierarchy. For
example:
- When a detail view contains many sections.
- If sections have a similar structure, including dividers makes each
section easier to distinguish as shown in the following screen
shot.

- Follow best practices for buttons, check boxes, date pickers, drop-down lists, input columns, links, radio buttons, and text boxes.
Tables (list views) within a detail view:
- If a table in a detail view includes one or more required items, add a blank row
as shown in the following screen shots for New Group.
