Enable an entry-point profiler

An entry point is a specific application component about which the profiler collects data.

Procedure

  1. In Server Tools, navigate to Guidewire Profiler > Configuration.
  2. In the Entry Point Configuration pane, select (click) the PolicyCenter entry point that you want to profile.
    For example, to enable application profiling for message destinations, click Enable Profiling for Message Destinations.
  3. In the secondary configuration screen that opens, choose the specific element that you want to profile, then click OK to close this screen.
    For example, if you clicked Enable Profiling for Message Destinations, select a specific message destination to profile and click OK to return to the Configuration screen. In the Configuration screen, PolicyCenter adds a message destination row to the Entry Point Configuration table, with a different column for each profiler option.
    Important: Be aware of any on-screen instructions that PolicyCenter provides as you enable an entry-point profiler. Certain profilers only take effect after you stop and restart the relevant component.
  4. Select the profiler configuration options that you want to enable
