Overview of dashboards

Dashboards are displays on PolicyCenter pages that provide summary information, highlight interesting data, and allow you to drill down to more detailed views. You might use a dashboard as an application landing page, providing users with important and useful information at a glance. A dashboard can show a centralized view of data that is aggregated from multiple sources.

A dashboard contains one or two columns, with each column optionally containing one or more tiles. A tile is an area on the dashboard that contains a representation of data, such as a list view or a chart. Tiles might also contain buttons or menus that allow you to perform certain actions.

The data elements in a dashboard are read-only, and do not allow you to edit the data. However, dashboards may contain links to other pages that do allow editing.
