Pinnable hierarchy in PolicyCenter
Because there are multiple entity domain graphs, it is necessary to use a hierarchy of domain graphs in PolicyCenter. The PolicyCenter pinnable hierarchy defines how entity domain graphs interact.
Each pinnable root defines its parents and children in an adapter. For PolicyCenter, all the pinnable roots can have multiple children. For parents, all the pinnable roots have only one parent except for account, which can be associated with multiple contacts.
The following figure shows an example of a pinnable hierarchy of domain graphs. Each box in the diagram is the root of a domain graph. Depending on how many contacts are on the account or how many accounts a contact is on, or both, the objects in the diagram could change. However, the order of the hierarchy would be the same.
