Rate routine data model
The following illustration shows some of the object relationships for rate routines.
The RateBook object represents a rate book and contains rate tables and rating routines.
The RateTable object represents a rate table.
The CalcRoutineDefinition object represents a rate routine definition. In PolicyCenter, you define rate routines on the screen.
The RateBookCalcRoutine object represents a rate routine included in a rate book. In PolicyCenter, rate routines included in a rate book appear on the Included Rate Routines tab on the Rate Book Details screen. The following illustration shows the objects for rate routine steps and parameter sets.
A rate routine is composed of multiple steps, represented by the CalcStepDefinition object.
