UWIssueType fields in underwriting rule

If you implement an externally managed underwriting rule in Gosu code, you must define the UWIssueType properties in the underwriting Rule user interface. The interface enables you to modify the UWIssueType object. The following table shows the fields in the underwriting Rule user interface with the corresponding UWIssueType property. For example, entering Name in the underwriting Rule sets Name on the corresponding UWIssueType object.

In an externally managed rule, values in the other underwriting Rule fields have no effect.

Note: After upgrading from PolicyCenter 7.0 or 8.0, legacy underwriting rules have a corresponding externally managed underwriting Rule. You can modify the UWIssueType properties listed above in the user interface.
