Asynchronous quoting work queues
Two work queues are associated with asynchronous quoting. You can
configure these work queues to meet your needs.
- Asynchronous Quoting work queue
- If a policy line has asynchronous quoting enabled, the Asynchronous Quoting work queue
rates and quotes the current policy period asynchronously. PolicyCenter creates an
asynchronous quoting work item (
AsyncQuotingWorkItem) when a user requests an asynchronous quote from PolicyCenter. - Asynchronous Rating work queue
- If a policy line has both asynchronous quoting and two-step quoting enabled, the
Asynchronous Rating work queue rates the current policy asynchronously. The second step,
finish quoting, is synchronous. PolicyCenter creates an asynchronous rating work item
(
AsyncRatingWorkItem) when a user requests an asynchronous rate from PolicyCenter.
