The Guidewire PolicyCenter product model defines how PolicyCenter presents products in the user interface.

The PolicyCenter product model defines products using patterns. Patterns are used to create the product instance, policy line, or coverage.

Availability allows you to specify whether or not a coverage or other pattern is available based upon factors such as start and end effective dates, industry code, underwriting company, and policy transaction type.

Offerings let you, the insurer, provide product variations for different types of buyers.
