Using archive logging

Guidewire recommends that you enable archive logging in your PolicyCenter installation during the development and testing phases of archive implementation. If you enable archive logging, PolicyCenter adds information to the application log regarding archiving issues that you can use in identifying, debugging, and correcting issues with the archive process.

It is also possible to temporarily set the archive logging level in the PolicyCenter Server Tools Set Logging Level screen that is available to system administrators. Restarting the application server resets any logging level set through this screen.
